Nicotine Cessation Free Classes to quit!
​MGH Community Health Associates’ Living Tobacco-Free program helps people quit cigarettes and other forms of tobacco. Trained coaches work one-on-one with people who are thinking about quitting tobacco to help them create an individualized plan for quitting. The services are free to everyone, without any copay. The program is available at the Mass General community health centers in Revere, Charlestown, Chelsea and Everett. To schedule your free appointment, call 781-485-6210.

MetroWest Free Medical Program
MetroWest Free Medical Program serves as an entry point to the health care system for those who are uninsured or insufficiently insured by providing immediate health related care and connections to other health resources.
MassOptions
Mass Options is a service of the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services. They provide assistance in health care as well as employment opportunities for Seniors and people with disabilities.

Mental Health & Counseling Services
Mass.gov contains resources related to Mental Health & Counseling Services. These resources include services such as psychological counseling, psychiatric evaluation and treatment, inpatient and outpatient treatment. These services are most often covered by individual health insurance, such as MassHealth (Medicaid); Massachusetts Health Connector (health insurance marketplace); or Private Insurance. The Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (DMH) provides supplemental services for individuals with the most significant and persistent mental illness.

Housing and Food Assistance

Fresh Start Furniture Bank
Fresh Start Furniture Bank collects donations of furniture and home goods from the public and distributes them, for free, to people in need. The people served by Fresh Start have at least one thing in common — they need help during a difficult time. Fresh Start’s clients are individuals and families in transition who need help to rebuild their lives.
​They include:
  • People escaping abusive domestic situations
  • People coming out of a shelter or recovery residence
  • Individuals and families in recovery from physical or mental illness, or addiction
  • Veterans
  • Victims of fires, floods, or hurricanes
  • Refugees and recent immigrants
  • Low-income families and individuals.
WIC ASSISTANCE
The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) provides federal grants to states for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age 5 who are found to be at nutritional risk.

Work Without Limits
Work Without Limits is a network of employers, educational institutions, employment service providers, state and federal agencies, individuals with disabilities, and their family members. Through collaboration and partnership, our goal is to increase the employment of people with disabilities until it is equal to those without disabilities. Work Without Limits programs and services are geared to meet the needs of employers that actively recruit people with disabilities as employees and in their supply chains, individuals with disabilities who are seeking jobs, and the employment service providers that serve them.
